Produce Advocacy Bootcamp

United Fresh has a new program for first-time conference participants, the Produce Advocacy Bootcamp.

The Sept. 16 program gives an overview of the industry’s key issues and strategies on how to share the industry’s voice in meeting with Senate and House members scheduled for Sept. 17-18, according to a news release.

The boot camp reviews basic elements of a Hill meeting, discussions of “policy asks,” tips from industry veterans on their Congressional visits, and role-playing exercises to help participants put what they’ve learned into action.
