Rice Fruit embracing its ‘Apple Era’ at IFPA show

Rice Fruit Co. says visitors to its booth will have a chance to find a new favorite from its wide range of apples while discovering their “Apple Era.”

Rice Fruit Co. says it’s ready to showcase an apple lineup from crisp to juicy to bold at the International Fresh Produce Association’s Global Produce and Floral Show in Atlanta.

“The flavors, varieties and vibrant colors of Rice Fruit Company’s apples are a sure sign to show attendees that apple harvest is here,” the company said in a news release.

“This is the first big show of our season and we’re ready for it! This show is always well attended by customers, colleagues and industry partners. It’s fantastic to connect with people in person,” Brenda Briggs, Rice Fruit vice president of sales and marketing, said in the release.

Networking and collaborating within the fresh produce industry, especially for companies like Rice Fruit Co. is essential and the Oct. 17-19 Global Floral and Produce Show provides an opportunity for connection, sharing and fostering partnerships, the release said.

“We understand the importance of collaboration to meet the evolving demands of our customers and the marketplace,” Briggs said. “Rice Fruit is committed to ensuring the fresh produce industry thrives together and creates a connected and resilient supply chain. This is especially important for the apple industry and why we have taken steps to help increase apple consumption across the board.”

Rice Fruit says it is dedicated to providing a wide range of apples ensures that there’s a perfect option for every palate and preference, and show attendees will see firsthand how the entire selection of apples from gala and Honeycrisp to SnapDragon and Lemonade offers retailers versatility and innovation to meet consumer demand.
