UnitedAg set to ‘Inspire’ at 45th annual conference in March

The member-owned trade association says the event will bring together leaders, members and industry professionals to celebrate its legacy and foster inspiration through health care, advocacy, leadership and education.

UnitedAg will mark a milestone as it hosts its 45th annual conference March 17-19, 2025, at the Terranea Resort and Spa in Rancho Palos Verdes, Calif.

With a theme of “Inspire,” the gathering will bring together leaders, members and industry professionals to celebrate UnitedAg’s legacy and foster inspiration through health care, advocacy, leadership and education, according to a news release.

UnitedAg said “Inspire” will be a unifying message throughout the conference encouraging attendees to look to the future with optimism and a renewed commitment to advancing the agricultural community. Leadership of the member-owned agricultural trade association will introduce initiatives designed to inspire innovation, enhance member well-being and strengthen partnerships, the release said.

Keynote speaker Daniel Kraft will lead the event with insights on health care innovation and inspire attendees with a forward-looking perspective on emerging technologies and opportunities, said UnitedAg. Kraft is a Stanford and Harvard-trained physician-scientist, inventor, entrepreneur and investor with over 25 years of experience in clinical practice, biomedical research and health care innovation.

The lineup of industry experts announced so far for the event includes:

  • Louie A. Brown Jr., partner, Kahn Soares & Conway LLP.
  • Alexandra Macedo, president, Macedo Environmental Consulting.
  • Joshua C. Walters, hief of strategy, Alliance of California’s Farmers & Ranchers.
  • Jonathan Adams, president, SALIX Data.
  • Karthik Krishnan, CEO, International Finance Facility for Education.
  • Daniel Nelson, president and CEO, Latin Berry Plants.
  • AJ Cisney, general manager, Rancho Guadalupe LLC.

The conference’s 45th anniversary festivities will conclude with the annual dinner dance, an awards ceremony and a silent auction. With the silent auction benefiting UnitedAg’s Agricultural Education Foundation, attendees will also have the opportunity to invest in the future by supporting scholarships for emerging agricultural leaders, the release said.
