USDA to host March web seminar on specialty crops import filing

The U.S. Department of Agriculture Agricultural Marketing Service will host a webinar on March 3 to highlight procedures for filing imports entering the U.S.

The U.S. Department of Agriculture Agricultural Marketing Service will host a webinar on March 3 to highlight procedures for filing imports entering the U.S.

The webinar will focus on how to file products regulated by 8e import requirements using the Customs and Border Protection’s Automated Commercial Environment, according to a news release. All electronic filers and stakeholders are encouraged to participate.

AMS will post a recording of the webinar on its website following the live event.

Information presented during the webinar will give electronic filers and brokers insight on issues commonly found through the process of filing AMS Partnering Government Agency data within the CBP’s ACE system, according to the release.

The training will highlight import scenarios as well as PGA records used to file import entries. There will be a question and answer session following the presentation to discuss issues filers and brokers are noticing in the field, according to the release.
