The U.S. Department of Agriculture has restricted four companies from operating in the produce industry after not paying for shipments, violating the Perishable Agricultural Commodities Act.
The companies, according to a USDA news release, are:
- SCC International Inc., Rio Rico, Ariz., for not paying $4,704 to an Arizona produce seller. Sergio Chamberlain was named as the officer, director and/or major stockholder of the business.
- Yuri and Eugene Inc., Los Angeles, for not paying $56,645 to a California seller. Nam Yi was identified as the officer, director and/or major stockholder of the business.
- New York Mark Group Inc., Long Island City, N.Y., for not paying $87,659 to a California Seller. NYM Holding Inc. and Deng Long were listed as officers, directors and/or major stockholders of the business.524
- TNS Produce Inc., Alexandria, Va., for not paying $21,524 to a seller in Hawaii. Susan Nguyen is listed as the officer, director and/or major stockholder.
