The Fresh Produce Association of the Americas is slated to host a free webinar focused on the potential impacts of a termination of the 2019 Tomato Suspension Agreement.
The webinar is a response to the Florida Tomato Exchange’s request for the Department of Commerce to terminate the 2019 Suspension Agreement on Fresh Tomatoes from Mexico and potentially issue an antidumping duty order, according to a news release.
The webinar is slated for Dec. 12 at 2 p.m. Eastern Time. FPAA says this session will help tomato importers and other industry members understand the implications of the antidumping order.

Adams Lee, FPAA’s trade lawyer from Harris Bricken, is set to lead the discussion and provide expert insights and address questions from participants, the release said.
FPAA said it prepared an FAQ document, which will also be a topic of discussion in the webinar.
The organization requires pre-registration for the webinar and encourages participants to forward any specific questions to info@freshfrommexico.com in advance. Click here to register and learn more about the event.
