William H. Kopke, Jr. Inc. says it will highlight its latest West Coast expansion and new product offerings, further enhancing its distribution capabilities across North America, Oct. 18-19 during the International Fresh Produce Association’s Global Produce and Floral Show in Atlanta.

The company will be exhibiting at this year’s show alongside the entire Safco team, Stanley Orchards and Vision Global Group at booth No. C2765, according to a news release. Kopke said its strategic acquisitions of RB Sandrini Cold Storage operations in Delano, Calif., and Safco of America operations in Visalia, Calif., have opened new doors for the company, providing enhanced access to the California citrus and grape industry, increased capacity for its full line of imports and expanding its footprint in the western U.S.

“These acquisitions mark a significant milestone in our growth,” said William Kopke of Kopke. “With our newly acquired facilities, we are in a prime position to serve our customers more efficiently, accessing new markets while reinforcing our commitment to quality and timely delivery.”

With this West Coast expansion, Kopke said it is poised to bring more value to its customers; it offers a more robust supply chain and distribution network to better serve the ever-growing demands of fresh produce markets coast to coast. It also allows the company to bring its premium selection of grapes, citrus, cherries, apples and stone fruit to more retailers and wholesalers nationwide, according to the release.

In the immediate future, the company said it will offer its imported grape and cherry programs, which will be available starting in November for shipment off both coasts.

In addition to showcasing its expanded product portfolio, Kopke invites show attendees to visit its booth for fresh-pressed juice made from its citrus.

“We’re excited to introduce something new and engaging for our booth visitors, especially since we will be juicing our own product, including South African midknight oranges and Chilean tangos/w. murcotts,” William Kopke said.

The company said it will also spotlight its suite of solutions under the Kopke family of companies, including KDC Group LLC for logistics and supply chain services East and West; Pacific International Cold Storage in Long Beach, Calif.; and Charlotte’s Express freight solutions. Attendees will have the opportunity to meet with the Kopke team, including key decision-makers from its West Coast operations, to discuss its expanded services and how Kopke can meet produce needs more effectively, the release said.

The company said AgroSocial, a social media platform dedicated exclusively to agriculture professionals, will be making an appearance. Attendees can visit the booth to learn more and can also download the app on-site and explore its key features firsthand.
