Chelan to boost SugarBee volume

Chelan Fresh Marketing, Chelan, Wash., plans to increase the volume of its proprietary organic SugarBee apples this season.

Chelan Fresh Marketing, Chelan, Wash., plans to increase volume of its proprietary organic SugarBee apples this season, said Kevin Stennes, organic sales manager.

This will be the second season the company will offer the organic SugarBee variety, which sold out its first year.
SugarBee is half Honeycrisp and half an unknown variety developed through open pollination.
