Ocean Mist Farms has promoted Katie Tossie to organic product manager.

Tossie, who has been with Ocean Mist for more than 15 years, was previously a sales representative for the Castroville, Calif.-based company.

She will manage daily harvests, set market prices, manage budgeted production for each growing season and grow organic wholesale and retail accounts, according to a news release.

“Katie has a proven track record of success with both the wholesale and retail customer base, so we look forward to her bringing additional value to our organic program,” Joe Angelo, sales manager, said in the release.

Tossie and other Ocean Mist representatives will be at booth No. 204 at the Organic Produce Summit, July 10-11 in Monterey, Calif. The company plans to introduce one-pound Brussels sprouts packs in the New Product Showcase. The company is also conducting a field tour for the show on July 10; registration is required.
