Aguair LLC. is proud to announce that Del Monte Fresh, Exeter Produce, J Marchini Farms, and Keystone Cold Storage are utilizing its ClensAirTM six-stage air sanitizer to remove ethylene while simultaneously inactivating airborne and surface mold, bacteria, and viruses.

Recent independent lab studies show that ClensAirTM removes 99.9998% of airborne MS2 bacteriophage, which is a simulant for human respiratory viruses such as Influenza and SARS-CoV-2.

Robert Orr, plant supervisor at Exeter Produce and Storage in Ontario Canada has purchased multiple ClensAir™ units for the company’s produce coolers. He says, “At Exeter Produce we have been growing, packing and marketing produce for close to 70 years. We strive to use the most efficient technology in the operations of our facility. ClensAir™ is one such solution; it has helped us remove ethylene gas, so that we can minimize product shrinkage, while boosting employee safety and confidence as it also removes pathogens from the air.

According to James Arevalo of Keystone Cold Storage, “Quality and safety are our number one priority. ClensAir™ technology is making a big difference in our coolers. The coolers smell better and are visibly much cleaner. Also, our produce retains freshness for a longer time frame. In turn, this results in increased profits and dramatically reduced food wastage.”

Managing Director of Aguair, Faizan Aly, says, “ClensAir™ has the highest flow rate in the industry and it efficiently removes ethylene to slow down the ripening process and reduce food spoilage and waste. However, ClensAirTM has the added benefit of killing pathogens, thereby protecting the health of facility workers and ensuring that pathogens are removed from the facility.”
