Emerson is releasing the GO Real-Time Flex Tracker, which monitors the ambient temperatures, relative humidity and pulp temperature readings for fresh produce in transit.

The GO Real-Time Flex Tracker is ideal for monitoring internal temperatures of products, according to a news release, helping shippers ensure optimal freshness and improved shelf life of sensitive commodities like berries, melons and fresh-cut produce.

Other features include location and light sensing capabilities with real-time alerts. The tracker is available in single-use or multi-use options.

“We are offering our customers flexible solutions to help tackle their most complex, in-transit cargo monitoring needs,” Frank Landwehr, vice president and general manager of cargo solutions for Emerson, said in the release. “Our customers rely upon ongoing new product advancements such as the GO Real-Time Flex Tracker to help support the delivery of quality, fresh products safely to the consumer.”
