Produce buying and selling platform Produce Live has launched.

Based in Portland, Ore., Produce Live aims to connects farmers to suppliers, food brands, retailers and distributors to optimize profitability and sales, according to a news release.

The release said the free Produce Live platform is designed to make quick introductions between produce buyers and sellers.

The concept of the platform is to offer buyers without prior relationships in the produce industry a place to connect and network freely with other industry members, according to the release.

Once registered on the website www.producelivellc.com, users can post products they are looking to sell or buy, according to the release.
