Denver-based ROXBOX Containers has launched a line of 100% off-grid solar infrastructure containers with Australian partners, Black Stump Technologies.

The solar product line named “HELIOS” after the Greek god, according to a news release.

The product launch of solar refrigerators, solar freezers, and solar renewable generators will help individuals, businesses, and communities to “go green” with the ability to access the power of the sun, reducing their carbon footprint while saving significant amounts of money on operations and fuel costs compared to diesel generators, according to the release.

HELIOS solar-containers provide a sustainable solution to operators in numerous industries, and the release said the refrigerator and freezer technology will allow fresh produce, meat, and dairy to be immediately chilled, cold-stored, or frozen as close to the source as possible.

“The HELIOS product line will disrupt the cold-chain and offer a sustainable alternative for on-site power,” Anthony Halsch, CEO of ROXBOX, said in the release.
