Florida Agriculture Commissioner Nikki Fried has announced that the second Florida International Agriculture Innovation Summit will take place March 30-31, 2022.
The two-day virtual summit is supported by the governments of Florida, Israel, Canada, and the Netherlands.
Hosted by the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services (FDACS) in collaboration with the Florida-Israel Business Accelerator (FIBA), the 2022 summit will focus on technologies and advances in water conservation and sustainable agriculture. Last year, more than 600 attendees participated in the inaugural 2020 summit hosted by Florida and Israel, which focused on agrobotics and artificial intelligence in agriculture, and hemp and cannabis research and development. After that summit’s success, FDACS looked to expand the summit’s scope by including additional partner countries, providing increased opportunities for exchange of ideas and economic development.
