ZAG Technical Services to discuss automation and more at packaging expo

The IT consulting firm, managed services and IT security provider specializing in the agriculture and food and beverage industries will be exhibiting and leading a session on robotic process automation.

ZAG Technical Services will be exhibiting and leading an event session on achievable business outcomes with robotic process automation at the Food Northwest Process & Packaging Expo in Portland, Ore., April 4-6.

ZAG is an IT consulting firm, managed services and IT security provider specializing in the agriculture and food and beverage industries. Vice President of Data and Software Services Thuan Ngo will lead the “How to use software robots to automate repetitive staff workloads in manufacturing” session, which will be delivered from the unique perspective of robot workers, according to a news release.

Examples from real business case studies will be presented to show how companies are leveraging modern technologies such as RPA to achieve business outcomes including improved profitability, reduced waste, and overall improvements to back-office efficiencies, the release said. The session is scheduled from 1-2 p.m. in meeting rooms C125-126.

“The real benefit of business automation is not only improved productivity and efficiency, but also the ability to empower employees to engage in more meaningful work and have a greater impact for your business,” Ngo said in the release.

ZAG will be exhibiting at booth No. 725. Director of Client Strategy Patrick Day, Marketing Director Robert Collings and Business Strategist for Pacific Northwest Michele Marshall will also be present to share insights on cyber resilience, business automation and digital transformation.
