From the family of Andrew Dewsnup:

It is with tremendous sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Andrew Dewsnup, 60. Andrew was the President of Greenfield Fresh, the Bay Area produce brokerage he founded in 2002.

He had been recently diagnosed with esophageal cancer and was anticipating 100% recovery, so we are all are mourning this untimely loss.

For those who knew Andrew, he worked hard always, gave sound advice, and built a reputation for himself and his company of honesty and excellence. A caring and trustworthy advisor, he leaves lifelong friendships and relationships that he has enjoyed since starting his produce career in 1988.

Andrew’s Greenfield Fresh family continues to keep the business going that he so proudly built. His Greenfield family includes his wife of 30 years, Cathy; Royce Greenfield, Dale Kobata, Gary Atkison and his business partner who believed in him all those years ago, Louie Andrighetto.

Andrew’s passing is a reminder to all of us to take time to enjoy each and every day, and always appreciate those who enrich us, and make our lives meaningful.
