BC Tree Fruits Coop hires executives

BC Tree Fruits Cooperative, Kelowna, British Columbia, has appointed Todd McMyn as CEO and Ross Dwhytie as chief financial officer.

BC Tree Fruits Cooperative, Kelowna, British Columbia, has appointed Todd McMyn as CEO and Ross Dwhytie as chief financial officer.

McMyn joined the cooperative April 1. He has previous experience as a CEO of a manufacturing and trading corporation involved in high-tech products infrastructure and consulted on agriculture and farming projects globally, according to a news release. He has participated in international trade missions with the British Columbia government.

Dwhytie has more than 15 years of experience in finance in public practice and industry, according to the release. He joined BC Tree Fruits Cooperative April 8.

“The board of directors went through an extensive search for the past number of months to ensure we find the right individuals that will excel in these positions on behalf of our grower members,” Jeet Dukhia, chairman of the BC Tree Fruits board of directors, said in the release.
