Category Partners welcomes new business development director

The Idaho Falls, Idaho-based company has appointed Julie DeWolf as director of business development.

Idaho Falls, Idaho-based Category Partners LLC has appointed Julie DeWolf as director of business development.

DeWolf reports to Aimee Smith, senior vice president of business development, according to a news release.

DeWolf has over 20 years’ experience in the produce industry. With a background as a certified public accountant and years of experience as a shopper marketing director, DeWolf has the instincts and experience to drive sales for Category Partners’ clients and create value for stakeholders along the supply chain, the release said.

“We are so pleased that Julie has agreed to join the Category Partners team,” Category Partners CEO Tom Barnes said in the release. “Her industry knowledge, connections, and commitment to excellence will bring tangible benefits to our clients in their quest to build business and master efficiencies.”

DeWolf is a graduate of UCLA with a bachelor’s degree in business and economics.

Category Partners is a firm specializing in insights, analysis and research. It offers services in retail analytics, operational analytics, consumer research, and consulting for produce and other perishables categories, according to the release.
