Crystal Valley Foods adds industry veteran

Miami, Fla.-based Crystal Valley Foods has hired James Paul to join the company’s sales staff.

Miami, Fla.-based Crystal Valley Foods has added James Paul to its sales staff.

Paul will handle sales for Crystal Valley’s entire product line, including asparagus, according to a news release.

Prior to Crystal Valley, Paul was senior category director for the asparagus category at Grower Direct Marketing, according to the release.

“With a family history in the fresh produce industry, Paul brings over 30 years of sales and marketing experience to the company,” Jay Rodriguez, president of Crystal Valley Foods, said in the release. “He is an accomplished and dynamic professional and his passion for the business will make him a great addition to our team.”

Paul has previous sales and marketing positions at Greg Paul Produce, Giumarra, Altar Produce, Prima Bella Produce, Apio, and Boskovich Farms.

At Crystal Valley, Paul will be based in Stockton, Calif., according to the release.

“I am excited to have joined the team at Crystal Valley,” Paul said in the release. “The company is a respected leader in the industry and well known for its quality products and customer service. I am looking forward to being a part of its continued growth and helping to expand and create new relationships in the U.S. and Canada.”
