Golden Sun Marketing has promoted Naba Bakar to director of marketing.

Golden Sun Marketing has promoted Naba Bakar to director of marketing.

The promotion was effective Aug. 1 for Bakar, who joined Golden Sun in November 2016 as marketing manager. She was promoted to senior marketing manager in November 2017.

She has a marketing background that ranges from startup ventures to corporate marketing. At Golden Sun, Bakar has proven to be an expert in strategic planning and brand management, according to a news release.

“Her balance of creative and marketing skills coupled with her vision and passion for the business is a rare find, so we are very lucky to have her continue to grow with us in this new role,” Tom Thompson, vice president of Golden Sun Marketing, said in the release.

“Naba has been an integral part of the team for her strategic thinking and strong marketing skillset that have helped us grow,” Don Goodwin, president of Golden Sun Marketing, said in the release.
