Greenyard USA and Seald Sweet hire SVP of sales and sourcing

Florida-based Greenyard USA and Seald Sweet have a new addition to its executive team.

Mark Gagnon has joined the fresh produce supplier and marketer as senior vice president of sales and sourcing, bringing experience and a track record of leading brands such as Del Monte, Dole, Chiquita, Chobani and Kalera, according to a news release.

“Mark will play a pivotal role in our company’s strategic growth and expansion plan,” Seald Sweet CEO Mayda Sotomayor said in the release.

Gagnon career in the produce industry includes notable achievements and strategic leadership; after a 14-year foundation at Dole, he led in key positions such as senior vice president of sales at Kalera, vice president of sales at Del Monte Fresh Produce, and national director of sales at Chiquita, according to the release.

Throughout his career, Gagnon has managed sales and distribution, driving category growth and establishing key partnerships with regional and national accounts across the U.S. and international markets in retail, wholesale and foodservice channels, the release said.

“Joining Seald Sweet is an honor,” Gagnon said in the release. “I am excited to contribute to the company and utilize my experiences over the last three decades with a global leader today.”
