Indoor grower Kalera adds two board members

Red Lobster CEO Kim Lopdrup and Chris Logan, investment director of Canica International AG, have joined Kalera’s board of directors.

Red Lobster CEO Kim Lopdrup and Chris Logan, investment director of Canica International AG, have joined Kalera’s board of directors.

Lopdrup brings decades of experience in the restaurant field, including a successful history of global expansion, according to a news release.

Logan has 20 years of experience in capital markets, including corporate valuation, mergers and acquisitions, financing solutions and investment management, according to the release.

Their addition to the Kalera board comes as the indoor leafy greens and microgreens grower is preparing to expand, with facilities set to open in Atlanta, Houston and Denver in 2021, according to the release.
