Jerry D’Amore has joined the Inteligistics Inc. board, with a focus on strategic corporate development.

D’Amore has more than 40 years of experience in agriculture, from greenhouse production and operations to supply chain management and consulting with companies on business development, quality assurance and productivity, according to a news release.

He has operated his own produce company and currently runs a consulting business. In between, he worked for Chiquita Brands International, Driscoll’s, Clear Springs LLC and SunnyRidge Farm/Dole Fresh Vegetables.

At Inteligistics, D’Amore will implement a strategy for growth, and represent the company at industry and government events, leveraging corporate relationships and knowledge to enhance the company’s reach, product supply and service opportunities, according to the release.

“I have seen Inteligistics’ end-to-end visibility, condition monitoring and quality improvement solutions at work firsthand at one of my recent quality chain management assignments with a major blueberry grower-processor,” D’Amore said in the release.

“I was impressed with the capabilities of Inteligistics’ technology platform and can clearly see its growth potential throughout the produce supply chain including grower-processors, retail and foodservice distribution,” he said.
