Dan McKernan has joined JOH’s Metro NY/NJ office as an account executive.

McKernan worked at former New York-area independent food distributor White Rose Inc. with branded and private-label clients, according to a news release. Most recently, he was an account executive at Advantage, handling accounts for clients that included Del Monte and olive oil company Filippo Berio.

“Dan is a familiar face to many of us at JOH,” Gary Rosenthal, executive vice president-general manager for Metro NY/NJ, said in a news release. “It will be great working with him and adding to our talented organization as we continue to grow.”
