John Beaulieu has joined Meridian Growers, Madera, Calif., to manage processing of tree nuts.

The company markets nuts for a group of growers in California and Arizona, according to a release. Beaulieu will oversee the almonds, pistachios and pecans the company grows and sells worldwide.

Beaulieu most recently was director of operations at Diversified Nut Processing. He’s been in the industry for more than 24 years, beginning in 1996 with Horizon Nut (formerly Ap Cal), working his way up to production manager.

“I have worked with John for over 20 years and I know he will bring a laser-like focus to do the best job possible,” Meridian Growers Managing Director Jim Zion said in the release. “He will be a great addition to the Meridian team as we move forward on various projects.”
