JOH welcomed Katie Richardson Nov. 18 as a business manager in its Fresh Division.

Richardson, who has more than 10 years of experience in the food industry, began her career as a retail sales representative, selling a wide variety of categories. Her strong performance and dedication led to her promotion to retail sales account manager, where she exceeded sales goals, built lasting relationships with manufacturing partners and coordinated buyer and category reviews with customers, the company says.

Most recently, she served as a business manager for a national sales and marketing agency where she further strengthened her expertise in sales strategy, category management and customer collaboration.

“Katie’s experience as a retail sales account manager, along with her stellar problem-solving abilities, makes her an ideal choice for the fresh team,” says Chris Darmody, executive vice president of fresh. “We are happy to welcome her to the JOH family.”

Richardson lives in York, Pa., with her husband and infant son. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family, relaxing at the family cabin, baking, attending country concerts and spending time outdoors.
