Yakima, Wash.-based Kwik Lok Corp. has promoted Jordan James as director of North American sales and strategic accounts, following the retirement of Bruce Cox, the company’s director of strategic accounts.

“I’m honored for the opportunity to continue in Bruce’s footsteps and strive to make the same positive impact that he had on our company,” James said in a news release. “Bruce is a true example of what it means to be a professional. The way he composes himself and relates with people has been an inspiration to me.”

Before joining Kwik Lok in 2017, James served as director of sales and business development at Shamrock Sales and Services, a Kwik Lok distributor, the release said.

Cox worked for Kwik Lok for about 20 years and served as a regional sales manager for Alaska, Washington, Idaho, Oregon, Montana and four western provinces in Canada, the company said. Cox assumed his new role in 2019 as director of strategic accounts.

“Throughout his time at Kwik Lok, Bruce demonstrated the ability to nurture and support strategic relationships and has maintained great trust with Kwik Lok customers,” Kwik Lok Chief Revenue Officer Blair Chastain said in the release. “Bruce has been a respected and valued leader on Kwik Lok’s sales team and throughout the company. He has been a mentor and role model for others. His contributions will be greatly missed.”
