Moxxy Marketing is celebrating the promotion of Allie Coombs to Project Manager. Allie first started with Moxxy in 2014 and has been part of the agency’s growth through two Salinas, CA brick and mortar offices.

“Allie came to Moxxy with fresh produce sales experience, which gives her valuable perspective on our industry, and over the years she has developed into a knowledgeable fresh produce marketer,” said Karen Nardozza, President & CEO. “She is the quintessential Moxxer. She is driven to create success for our clients, focused on the nuances and details that are critical for efficient project management, and adds a spark of humor and creativity that has made her part of the backbone of the Moxxy team.”

After earning a B.S. in New Media Communications from Oregon State University, Allie began her career in fresh produce sales and business development in Monterey, CA before joining Moxxy in Salinas as a Project Coordinator. She took a pause in 2016 to return to hometown Portland, OR and start a family. But as her kids developed more independence, the lure of reconnecting with Moxxy and ag marketing was strong, and she returned part-time—in a remote workspace—to her previous role.

“I don’t want to have to choose between being a mom of young kids and having a career,” says Coombs. “My position at Moxxy allows me the flexibility to continue growing in marketing and the ag industry, in alliance with other responsibilities. I’m enjoying understanding more about our business and having decision-making authority in a project management role, and look forward to continuing to support our fantastic roster of fresh food clients across the U.S.”

“Allie is an efficient multi-tasker and a stickler for details. Her clients trust her. Her co-workers rely on her as a resource. She understands our industry, and enthusiastically delivers on Moxxy’s brand promise to provide exceptionally smart and effective full-service marketing. I have utmost confidence that she will thrive and succeed in her newly expanded role,” Nardozza added.
