NCAE president and CEO set to retire in fall

The National Council of Agricultural Employers says it will seek applications for the position through March 31.

The National Council of Agricultural Employers is searching for a new president and CEO, as Michael Marsh, who currently holds the roles, plans to retire near the end of the year after joining the organization in 2017.

“Michael’s outstanding leadership has been integral to the success and growth of the Council,” Joel Anderson, chair of NCAE’s Executive Committee, said in a news release. “The council is grateful for Michael’s commitment to America’s farming and ranching communities and his tireless efforts on behalf of Agriculture. The Selection Committee has a daunting task finding a new visionary to follow in his footsteps.”

NCAE, a national trade association that focuses exclusively on agricultural labor issues from the agricultural employer’s viewpoint, said it will continue to seek applications from agricultural leaders through March 31.

“We are searching nationwide for someone passionate about farm and ranch families and assisting them to be sustainable,” said Ryan Ayres, vice chairman of NCAE’s executive committee and chair of the selection committee. “Under Michael’s leadership, the council has enjoyed tremendous growth in membership and achieved significant gains in influencing Congress and the regulatory agencies on issues involving in agricultural labor. NCAE is looking for someone with vision, passion and enthusiasm for America’s agricultural community to continue that trajectory with the same constant commitment to ethics and integrity.”
