Veg-Fresh adds two to sales team

Corona, Calif.-based agribusiness said the new hires will help expand the company’s berry program and expand its share in food service.

Corona, Calif.-based agribusiness Veg-Fresh Farms has added Ramon Angel and David Solis to its team.

Angel will focus on expanding Veg-Fresh’s berry program and developing and enhancing the Crystal Cove Berry brand, according to a news release.

Veg-Fresh said Angel brings to Veg-Fresh more than a decade of experience in the produce industry from Fresh Express Salads and Andrew & Williamson Fresh Produce. He also held positions at Plan Berries and Central West Produce.

Solis brings to Veg-Fresh experience with companies such as Interfresh Inc., US Foods, Hardies Fruit & Veg and Dulcinea Farms, according to the release. The company said Solis will specialize in fresh-cut produce and will focus on expanding its market share in food service.

Ramon and David bring a wealth of experience and dedication to Veg-Fresh Farms,” Mark Widder, general partner of Veg-Fresh, said in the release. “We eagerly anticipate their contributions and look forward to their continued success with us.”
