Organized by Yentzen Group in conjunction with the Cherry Fruit Committee of Chile (formerly ASOEX), the next Global Cherry Summit is set for April 25, 2024, at the Monticello Events Center in Santiago, Chile.

The 2023 Global Cherry Summit brought together more than 1,000 attendees and 70 exhibiting companies, according to a news release.

“Every season the Chilean cherry industry is faced with different challenges, some of them can be controlled by the sector, but there are others that do not depend directly on producers and exporters, such as the El Niño phenomenon, which, this season has meant rain during flowering and harvest times, causing the volumes to be exported to change week by week,” Claudia Soler, executive director of the Chilean Fruit Cherry Committee, said in the release.

Yentzen Group CEO Gustavo Yentzen says the Chilean fruit industry is transforming at great speed.

“In that context, cherries are the pillar of the forces that are driving this change,” he said in the release. “Participating in the Global Cherry Summit 2024 will allow you to stay up to date with the changes that are affecting the business and, at the same time, be able to glimpse the trends and future scenarios of this star fruit.”
