Fresh Farms is increasing its investment in technology and innovation as well as coming up with creative marketing solutions to help its retail customers maximize their return on investment, says Raul Carbajal, operation process improvement specialist at the Nogales, Ariz.-based company.

Fresh Farms is a grower-shipper leader of Mexican produce and is the single largest table grape grower out of Mexico, representing over 25% harvested out of Mexico, Carbajal said. The company offers a wide range of fruits and vegetables with year-round availability, he said. This year, the company expects a gain of more than 5% in Mexican produce, he said.

Carbajal said the company expects increased volume through all its commodities.

He said Fresh Farms is engineering strategic contracting and marketing campaigns tailored for specific clients for their consumers.

In addition, Carbajal said the company is growing its tomato business in a strategic harvest window and continues to invest in improvements in fields and operations.
