USDA announces multi-million dollar grape purchase

The U.S. Department of Agriculture has announced a $6.35 million of fresh grapes.

The U.S. Department of Agriculture has announced a $6.35 million of fresh grapes.

The purchase announcement said the table grape purchase will be distributed to the child nutrition and other related domestic food assistance programs for the fiscal year 2021.

Deliveries of fresh grapes will be made from Nov. 1 through Dec. 29 this year. The purchase announcement said 372,450 cartons of grapes will be delivered.
