The Giant Co., also known locally as Giant and Martin’s, has launched its new Talk & Tours events.

Led by the grocer’s team of dietitians and offered monthly, these free and interactive events combine a half-hour of nutritional education with a 30-minute guided store walking tour.

“Making better-for-you food choices often starts at the grocery store, but for many, shopping for healthier items or new-to-them products can be an overwhelming or even confusing experience,” says Kilene Knitter, manager of well-being outreach for The Giant Co. “These Talk & Tour sessions are designed to inform, inspire and help our customers shop for their families with confidence.”

January kicked off with the theme, “Fueling Weight Management with Protein and Fiber.” The Talk & Tours are offered at 10:30 a.m. on the second Tuesday of each month at Giant’s Camp Hill and Willow Grove stores in Pennsylvania. February’s theme is “Heart Smart Your Cart.”

Space is limited for each Talk & Tour, and registration is required. For more details and to register, visit giantfoodstores.com/ wellbeing.
