Sunset label leads to global award for Yerecic Label

Yerecic Label, New Kensington, Pa., recently received the World Label Award for a label for the Sunset brand Campari tomato.

The label for Mastronardi Produce, Kingsville, Ontario, which ships under the Sunset brand, featured Yerecic’s Easy Fresh Cooking concept, according to a news release.

“In sales, we often find it’s not what we say about ourselves that really matters, it’s what others say about us that matters,” Art Yerecic, president, said in the release. “This World Label Award from the WLA says we produce World Class quality labels.”

The Easy Fresh Cooking concept of uses a finished dish photo, recipe and key customer information to help entice, inform and inspire shoppers at the point of purchase, according to the release.
