Red Sun Farms says it has reached a new milestone in its latest donation to Make-A-Wish Canada, one of the ongoing community initiatives the company supports.

As part of its efforts to promoting wellness in the workplace, Red Sun Farms offers employees the opportunity to purchase fresh produce boxes for a small donation. These boxes are filled with premium vegetables, freshly harvested from its greenhouses, according to the company.

The grower says all proceeds from the program are donated directly to Make-A-Wish Canada, Southwestern Ontario Chapter, helping to grant life-changing wishes for children facing critical illnesses. Red Sun Farms says it made a record-breaking donation of $10,240 this year, which the company calls a reflection of its employees’ dedication and compassion.

“Our team continues to amaze me with their generosity and commitment,” Red Sun Farms President Jim DiMenna said in a news release. “Supporting Make-A-Wish Canada is deeply meaningful to all of us, and it’s inspiring to see how passionately our team rallies behind such an important cause.”

With year-over-year growth in donations, the bar has been raised for 2026 — and the Red Sun Farms team is more than ready to meet the challenge, the release said.
