Global food supply chain magazine Food Logistics has named TransKool Solutions to its 2019 Top 3PL & Cold Storage Providers list.

The list is a resource guide of third-party logistics and cold storage providers, according to a news release from Allen Lund Co.

Allen Lund Co., La Canada Flintridge, Calif., and Santos International, McAllen, Texas, formed TransKool Solutions, Mission, Texas, in 2017.

“At TransKool, we have found that having close working relationships with our customers, their customs brokers, as well as their transportation partners, enable us to offer better communication and services for our clients,” Scott Fletcher, transportation manager for TransKool, said in the release. “We have direct access to where their inbound product is in the border crossing process and in turn we are able to coordinate with customer’s trucks in an effort to streamline the process.”

The list is in Food Logistics’ August issue, and online at www.foodlogistics.com/.

“The complexities of the global food supply chain are forging a more collaborative relationship between leading 3PLs, cold storage providers and their customers,” Lara Sowinski, editorial director of Food Logistics, said in the release. “Improved customer care, tighter integration between systems, and more value-added services are among the results.”
