Truck rates were mostly steady in mid-July.

The July 16 report truck rate report from the U.S. Department of Agriculture noted a slight shortage of trucks in southeast Missouri and eastern North Carolina.

The USDA reported a slight surplus of trucks in Georgia’s Vidalia District and southern New Mexico. The USDA noted a surplus of trucks in south Texas.
