The Packer and Cal/Amp are presenting a web seminar on transportation technology.

The seminar, Fleet Management and Transportation Technology: Data-Driven Operational Effectiveness and Visibility, is at 1 p.m. Nov. 5.

Transportation can affect all aspects of business, from product freshness to customer satisfaction to your bottom line in both prosperous and challenging times, according to a news release.

Roundtable participants are:

  • Stewart Lapage, director of transportation for The Oppenheimer Group (Oppy), (moderator);
  • Bill Westerman, vice president of product management for Cal/Amp;
  • Malika Ahuja, principal product manager for iOn Suite Cal/Amp;
  • Marcel Van Dijk, cargo marketing manager for the Port of Los Angeles; and
  • Brian Edwards, national transportation manager at UNFI Produce, will discuss how using data can effectively drive decisions in transportation safety, savings with fleet management and service.
