Starting Oct. 21, the company will be sourcing from the Mexicali, Mexico area, according to a news release, with 2 bags of 24 in a case or 12 bags of 5.5-ounces.
“We continually listen to the feedback provided by our customers,” Robert Leonard, Baja Son Growers sales manager, said in the release. “They shared their needs for an organic green onion program, and we are excited to announce that this program will be going live on Oct. 21, 2019.”
The fully integrated company oversees the entire supply chain, Leonard said in the release.
Longtime grower Baja Son entered opened the sales and marketing arena in 2010, according to the release. and offers asparagus and green onions under the label.
