The company also is expanding organic offerings to include multi-packs, new options in the Snackerz and Dipperz lines, and sweet and tart apples in stand-up bags to ease shelf display, according to a news release.
“Consumer demand continues to grow for organic items and we can meet that demand,” Megan Wade, product development and marketing manager, said in the release.
Other new items the Crunch Pak staff will be talking about at Fresh Summit booth No. 1783:
A new snacking line called Bitez, featuring unpeeled apple slices paired with cheddar cheese or string cheese.
Fresh cherry snacks that debuted in West Coast markets this summer. The fresh cherries are paired with almonds or Ghirardelli chocolate.
A 12-ounce bag of sliced Honeycrisp apples with the new packaging.
“The last 12 to 18 months we’ve focused on protein snacks in new product development,” Wade said in the release. “Dipperz are a great snacking item but take two hands to eat; Bitez are grab-and-go.”
