Michael Robach has joined Clear Labs’ board of directors.

Robach has more than 40 years of experience in the food industry, most recently as vice president of corporate food safety, quality and regulatory for Cargill, according to a news release. He co-founded and was president of Safe Supply of Affordable Food Everywhere. He is the chairman of the board of directors for the Global Food Safety Initiative, according to a news release.

He is a member of the U.S. Poultry and Egg Association’s Research Advisory Committee. He is a member of the American Meat Institute, the National Turkey Federation, the International Association of Food Protection, the Institute of Food Technologists and the American Society for Microbiology.

“Michael has had an incredible career in the global food industry – from his leadership at (the Global Food Safety Initiative) and his experience in corporate food safety at Cargill,” Susan Amini, CEO and co-founder of Clear Labs, said in a news release. “His insights will be invaluable as we continue to build our (Next Genome Sequencing)-based food safety products.”
