SunWest Fruit Co., Parlier, Calif., has promoted Brett Britz to vice president of sales and marketing.
Britz joined his family’s citrus and stone fruit company in 2010, according to a news release, and he has been serving in prominent roles.
He succeeds Doug Sankey, who left to “pursue new opportunities,” according to the release. Sankey joined the company as sales manager in 1999, and had been promoted vice president of marketing.
“SunWest employees and the Britz family would like to thank Doug for the many years of unwavering hard-work and loyalty he demonstrated on a daily basis,” Martin Britz, SunWest owner and general manager, said in the release. “He exemplified everything you could ask for from a manager, salesperson, colleague, and friend. We wish him the best of luck in his new venture.”
