Wenatchee, Wash.-based CMI Orchards has added new tools to its American Dream cherry program, said Danelle Huber, marketing specialist.

“We now offer a 2.25-pound red cherry pouch bag, a 1.25-pound rainier cherry pouch, as well as 1-pound clamshell options,” she said.

“We are especially excited about our new 2-box shipper display for retailers to create an eye-catching patriotic display within their stores. Our

American Dream program gives back to veteran and military families and we offer multiple ways to support retailers participating in this program to help them get the word out to their customers.”

CMI also has developed a 2-box shipper for its premium Skylar Rae cherry variety, Huber said.

“We are anticipating harvesting our Skylar Rae cherries around June 10 and, with peak supplies between June 22 and July 5, (it’s) perfect for those summer cherry ads and promotions,” she said.
