In this episode, Roland Fumasi, vice president and senior analyst for RaboResearch Food & Agribusiness notes that sustainability has three important pieces: Environmental, Social, and Economic. The economic piece of sustainability seems often forgotten in some circles, and Fumasi will look at what the industry must do to recognize, measure and communicate how existing and increasing sustainability efforts create value for both consumers and the industry. He will help operators look at the economic benefits (and costs of inaction), so they can accurately calculate the benefit/cost equation.
