The Southeast Produce Council’s newest platform, the Virtual Garden, hosted a live cooking program where industry members could attend and chat.

“Cooking in the Garden with Gold Level Sponsor: RPE” featured RPE Chef Chris McAdams as he demonstrated on Dec. 16 how to make Green Goddess Potato Salad with Tasteful Selections Honey Gold bite-size potatoes.

The lemony yellow color and high nutrition are key characteristics of this particular potato, “but what really stands out is its exceptional creaminess,” McAdams said in the video.

The event was recorded and still available for viewing on demand.

Each year, the council curates a series of industry programs and networking events for members, according to a news release.

The Virtual Garden platform will continue to keep members abreast of the latest developments in produce — ”whether those are happening in the soil, in the cloud or anywhere in between,” according to the release.

The founding pillars of this platform are networking, innovation, community and education.
