Western Growers University has unveiled a Training Needs Assessment Tool to help companies plan effective training programs by simplifying the process of identifying specific training needs.

In addition to the resource, Western Growers University’s team offers dedicated support for training initiatives, according to a news release.

Western Growers University Learning and Development Manager Priscila Cisneros creates and provides training and professional development services for the evolving needs of Western Growers members and the broader agricultural community. She offers on-site and virtual training as well as one-on-one coaching for supervisors and above, the release said.

Western Growers University said Cisneros brings this level of experience and education to create training materials related to human resources, offering input to training strategy and development plans. She also offers support and training regarding employment law, which is supported by the Western Growers Family of Companies legal team. All her training is created with a comprehensive instructional design approach and can be given in either English or Spanish, the release said.

Cisneros’ track record in agriculture, manufacturing, nonprofit organizations and private consulting makes her uniquely qualified to conduct needs assessments for member companies, identifying training needs in areas such as leadership development, management skills, organizational operations and human resources topics, the release said.

Western Growers University said Cisneros’ collaborative approach and priority to understand the goals of others to ensure a positive impact, coupled with her extensive experience and education, is an asset to Western Growers member companies.
