The Food and Drug Administration says New Age International Inc. of Brooklyn, N.Y., recalled its 200-gram package of Daily Veggies enoki mushrooms because of a possible contamination with Listeria monocytogenes.

The packages were distributed nationwide in retail stores, according to the announcement. The product comes in a 200-gram, clear plastic package marked with UPC code 8809159458890 on the back label.

No illnesses have been reported to date in connection with this problem, the FDA said.

The contamination was discovered following samples collected from stores in Baltimore and an analysis by the State of Maryland Department of Health Laboratories Administration, according to the FDA.
