The Food and Drug Administration said Dairyland Produce LLC, dba Hardie’s Fresh Foods of Houston and Dallas, recalled its Cucumber Select 6 Count because the cucumbers in the pack were supplied by SunFed Produce, which recalled its cucumbers due to possible salmonella contamination.
Hardie’s Fresh Foods distributed the cucumbers to Costco stores in Houston and Dallas, according to the announcement. Affected cucumbers are labeled with the following lot codes: X2377074, X2379602, X2381000, X2381080, X2383400, X2384557 and X2384587.
The FDA also said F&S Fresh Foods recalled its 22-ounce Mediterranean Inspired Party Tray because its Grecian Delight Tzatziki sauce containing cucumbers recalled by SunFed Produce.
Russ Davis Wholesale of Wadena, Minn., recalled cucumbers supplied by Baloian Farms and part of the SunFed Produce recall. The recalled cucumbers were distributed to foodservice and retail customers in Iowa, Illinois, Kansas, Michigan, Minnesota, Montana, North Dakota, Nebraska, South Dakota, Wisconsin and Wyoming.
Supreme Service Solutions of Farmers Branch, Texas, recalled its cucumbers sold to Kroger and King Sooper stores in Texas and Colorado because the wholesaler purchased the cucumbers from Sunfed Produce, according to the FDA.
The FDA said JFE Franchising of Houston, recalled fresh-cut and salad products in connection to the recall by SunFed Produce. The products were sold in plastic containers under the Snowfruit or Snowfox label and were sold at select Kroger retail stores in Texas, Louisana, Wyoming, Arizona and Colorado, according to the announcement.
