Freska Produce International, an importer and exporter of fresh and dried produce, has appointed Iliana Loza as its director of marketing.
In this new leadership role, Loza will oversee the company’s marketing strategy, public relations, trade show presence, digital communications, social media initiative and brand development efforts. The company says she will work closely with its sales, operations and executive teams to strengthen the company’s market position and support continued growth across its expanding portfolio of fresh and dried produce offerings.
Loza, a graduate of the University of Notre Dame’s Mendoza College of Business, brings experience in strategic marketing, communications, brand development and digital engagement. She will also focus on raising visibility for the company’s growing portfolio of fresh and dried produce offerings.
Freska Produce was founded in 2004 by Jesus Loza and Gary Clevenger and has become one of North America’s leading mango importers while strategically expanding its portfolio to include avocados, dragon fruit, dried mangoes as well as organic and fair-trade programs.
The company says its investment in Loza is part of its ongoing commitment to innovation, strategic growth and remaining responsive to customer needs. The company plans to continue to invest in partnerships, infrastructure and innovation.
“As we continue evolving into a multi-category produce company, it is essential that we continue investing in our brand, customer engagement and industry presence. Iliana’s marketing expertise and fresh perspective will help us communicate our story and support our long-term vision,” Clevenger says.
